Bolero in lamé embroidered with gold plates by Louis Féraud Couture - Spring-Summer 1997
Spring-Summer 1997 collection
Paris
Bolero, gold top from the 1997 Haute Couture fashion show by the famous Louis Féraud fashion house. Sleeveless bolero with dog collar, gold lamé base, applied with gold metal plates with a Peplum look. Louis Féraud drew inspiration here from several of humanity's ancestral cultures, including the rounded neckline encircling the chest, which reminds us of the Indian kurtas of Lucknow in the 19th century. Dozens of sewn-in panels with geometric and circular motifs are inspired by antiquity and the Aztec civilisation, which was one of the themes of the 1997 fashion show. The bolero is fastened at the front with clasps and lined with straw-yellow synthetic crepe, bearing the Louis Féraud Paris label. The whole garment is piped with gold trimmings to emphasise the feminine lines. A photo of this top from the 1997 fashion show will be sent to the buyer. This bolero is flawless, having retained its original glitter. Very good colour and condition.
Dimensions: Equivalent to size 36 France. Shoulders 45 cm, height 36 cm, neck 41 cm, chest 90 cm.
