Astonishing Little Cocktail Black Dress composed of 3 pieces : bodice, skirt and belt by Nina Ricci Haute Couture dating from the end of the 1950s. Sleeveless bodice with large cleavage in black taffeta covered with black tulle decorated with embossed satin ribbon at the neckline, original zipper on the left side. In the lining of the bodice, original appliqué of foam and taffeta to strengthen the breast line. Skirt in black taffeta with large background decorated with three embossed rows in tulle applied with a black satin ribbon. Tarlatan strip in lining to stiffen the very "Baby Doll" silhouette of the skirt. Belt in imitation leather and steel buckle entirely covered with taffeta and black tulle. Exemplary French Haute Couture finishes. Label in cream satin woven with gold threads indicating "Collection Jeunes Femmes"(Young Women Collection) Nina Ricci. Clean set, flawless except for three pleats on the flounce on one side of the skirt to be reformed due to improper folding. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
