Iconic three-piece skirt suit with fine stripes as a counterpart to the famous trouser suit that Yves Saint Laurent created in 1967. Chocolate wool cloth woven with fine cream curly stripes. Clearly inspired by the men's wardrobe, the slim fit evokes the androgyny of the 1930s and Marlene Dietrich. Slim-fitting jacket with a wide collar and long sleeves, lightly decorated with three false flap pockets and an open pocket at the chest. V-neck waistcoat with pointed hem. High waist wrap skirt with flat pleats at the crossing. The jacket and waistcoat are fastened with brown plastic buttons. Skirt fastening with hook and loop closure. Lining of the suit in brown nylon. Claw white background black graphics in the jacket indicating Yves Saint Laurent Paris Made in France numbered 14539. Very good condition of colour and conservation.
