Iridescent velvet evening bolero in eggshell cream dating from the 1930s, designed by Paule Haute Couture in Lyon. Fitted and crossed at the front in a wrap-around style, with a large V-neck in matching velvet. Mameluck-style long sleeves with two ties of beige crepe cords that hug the arm and end in a slight puff towards the wrist. The cream silk crepe lining has some brittleness and micro-tears on the inside of the sleeves. The velvet remains clean despite the occasional pinhead-sized rust stain. No other defects to report. Overall good condition. More to display then wearing.
