Oversize Caban coat or navy-inspired sailor coat in cream silk satin by Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture dating from the late 1980s. Provenance of the wardrobe of Madame Joy Corine Hendericks. Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent's famous 1960s sailor coat cut, this coat takes on its eccentricity and includes a wide collar, cuffs lapels and four pockets, two of which are fake at the chest. Topstitching and large mother-of-pearl buttons complete this Haute Couture model with Cocoon style. Lining of the coat in matching silk satin. Label white background black graphics Yves Saint Laurent Paris Made in France numbered 60623. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
