France
Iconic Couture choker, collar necklace in ‘crinkled’ gold metal, designed by Robert Goossens for Yves Saint Laurent Couture and dating from the 1990s. The original chain and clasp feature several dented medallions and moons engraved with Yves Saint Laurent's legendary symbols. The YSL logo of the famous fashion house, of course, but also hearts, stars, four-leaf clovers, swallows and fleurs-de-lis of the Maison de France, which adorned the famous greeting cards designed by the artist in the 1980s. This rare choker necklace has retained its original gold shine and sparkle! Good overall condition in terms of colour and preservation. The matching bracelet is sold separately from this necklace.
Dimensions: Adjustable neck circumference from 40 to 43 cm. Diameter of the medallions from 4 cm x 4 cm for the largest to 2 cm x 2 cm for the smallest.
