Evening or formal coat by Jean Dessès Haute Couture dating from the late 1950s. Loose fit, flared at the bottom with long sleeves and small cuffs. The neckline has a claudine collar and is tied in front.  Beautiful brocade with a cream background embroidered with gold lamé twigs and artichoke flowers. Powder pink taffeta lining and label indicating Jean Dessès 17 avenue Matignon Paris. Cotton bolduc numbered on the back of the label with the number 8564. Little or no wear, no stain or hole. Good condition of colour and conservation.

Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 40-42. Height 115 cm, shoulders 43 cm, chest 103-110 cm, hips 120 cm. Bottom of the coat 160 cm.
