A dark brown plush velvet jacket, imitating fur, dating from the 1930s-1940s. Loose fit, long sleeves, wide folded collar inspired by menswear. This jacket crosses over and fastens at the front with two large buttons with black silk trimmings. Beautifully tailored back with a small slit and basques at the hips. Remarkable Art Deco period lining in artificial silk satin with salmon patterns on silver grey. The brown silk velvet is very dense and of fine quality. No flaws to note apart from a slight patina on the velvet at the seams and repairs to the lining at the armpits. Good overall condition in terms of colour and preservation.

Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 40-42. Height 78 cm, shoulders 44 cm, chest 100-105 cm, waist 95 cm, sleeves 50 cm, hips 123 cm.
