Hermès Scarf entitled Pavois by Philippe Ledoux Circa 1990
Famous Hermès square entitled Pavois on a sky-blue silk twill background. Designed by Philippe Ledoux, the first edition dates from 1964, this being the second edition dating from the 1990s. Fluid printed silk twill with hand-rolled edges, retaining its original finish. The central motif is a baroque naval anchor with a scallop shell, marked Pavois. Numerous historic flags and bulwarks. Photos taken in daylight. No stains or holes, probably little used. Very good condition.
