Art Deco Flapper Dress in salmon pink silk crepe embroidered with pearls - France Circa 1920-1925
Beautiful Art Deco ball gown or ceremonial dress in pale salmon pink silk crepe entirely embroidered with tubular glass beads and pearls. Straight sleeveless cut with an asymmetrical blousant effect on the hips punctuated by a belt integrated with three cultured pearls. Parallel line embroidery design and large Art Deco stylised flowers on one side. Transparency effect between the salmon cream underdress and the translucent powder pink top crepe. Note a diffuse halo to the underdress at the waist on the right and missing beads. Also a 0.5cm repair to one shoulder and small halos to the underdress at armpit level. Collector's item to be displayed or worn with extreme care. Stable structural condition.
