Laborde & Cie Evening Coat in Golden Spangled Brocade Circa 1920

Long evening coat of Laborde & Cie designer house from Paris in gold and emerald green spangled brocade with stylized stars from the Belle Epoque. Orientalist cut as Paul Poiret did with volume of the bouillonné coat at the back and ended with a rose. Long integrated pointed cape in the back with large tassels in golden silk trimmings also on the three-quarters sleeves. Elegant lining in cream and apple green silk satin finished with a matching and visible pleated furbelows. Label cream background black graphics Laborde & Cie Paris 22, rue des Capucines. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
