Pierre Balmain Paris evening or ceremony dress with matching bolero and purse from the 1950s. Ivory Duchess satin embroidered with white and silver tulbular pearls, cultured pearls, silver sequins and iridescent sequins. Bolero with straight cut and short sleeves. Bustier with large low-cut neckline richly embroidered and straps with wide tabs of satin. Skirt with stitched draped effect held at the hips. Closure of the dress at the back by zip and hook. Matching purse or reticule closed by a tie in ivory silk cord. Lining in cream silk pongee. Label white background black graphics Boutique Pierre Balmain Paris. A repair of the silk on two cm in the folds of the bottom of the skirt (hardly remarkable) and very tiny micro-tasks in the bottom, otherwise very good condition of color and conservation.
