An extravagant evening coat by Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, dating from the early 1980s. The coat features a black acetate taffeta body, embroidered with vertical bands of black swan feathers. Loose fit, long sleeves, fastens at the front with a hook covered in black trimmings. The collar, hem and cuffs are adorned with longer ostrich feathers in shades of grey and black. Fully lined in black acetate taffeta and features a white label with black lettering bearing the logo ‘Made in France, Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, Paris’, size 40. No flaws to report. Excellent condition in terms of colour and preservation.

Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 40. Shoulders 39 cm, chest 90–95 cm, length 66 cm, sleeves 60 cm, waist 85–90 cm, hips 100 cm.
