A Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Blue Turquoise Studded Leather Humorous Bag Circa 1995
Circa 1995
France
Elegant little Vintage bag in turquoise blue stitched and studded leather by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, dating from the 1990s. It has a conical shoulder bag shape in quilted leather with a steel zip fastening and is worn over the shoulder. The legendary humour of couturier Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is expressed here by recalling the Middle Ages and historical pastiche, with its diamond-studded ornaments and inverted French lilies! The shoulder strap, too, is a rustic chain wrapped around a leather strap ending in a studded shoulder tab. The steel is polished and aged in its original patina. Inner lining in black synthetic canvas and zip pockets with the JC de Castelbajac label printed on white vinyl. Note a tiny pencil mark under the asc and a slight patina to the piping on the sides. Otherwise clean, no other defects to report. Good overall structural condition.
Dimensions: 23 cm wide, 16 cm high, width of base 11 cm, length of handle 127 cm.
