Buttercup yellow damask flowing silk short dress by Christian Dior Haute Couture under the direction of Marc Bohan dating from the late 1980s. From the wardrobe of HSH Princess Caroline of Monaco. Sleeveless, high-waisted sheath wrap dress with asymmetrical treatment. Crossed shawl-effect bustier with V-shaped cowl neckline. Skirt with pleated volume on one side and hook fastening. The fabric is supple, 100% silk printed with large impressionist flowers on a buttercup yellow background. Inner whalebone corset in the grand tradition of the House of Dior, with hooped bust and zip on one side. No stains, holes or visible damage. Good overall condition in terms of colour and conservation.
