Circa 1975-1980
France
Beautiful stole, silk and cashmere scarf from Lanvin with its cardboard case, dating from the late 1970s. The front is made of silk twill printed with modernist patterns in navy blue, red, burgundy grey and greenish. The reverse is made of burgundy pashmina. Coloured fringes at both ends made of knotted silk threads. Label indicating Lanvin, 15 Faubourg Saint Honoré Paris, soie, with the Lanvin emblem, which can also be found on the cardboard case (a small tear on one side of the box). No flaws to report, as this scarf appears to have been little used. Good overall condition in terms of colour and preservation.
