Rare grand soir ensemble, dress and cape coat in champagne and black silk shantung designed by Hubert de Givenchy Haute Couture dating from the 1960s. Sheath dress with plunging neckline and cream silk shantung. Matching Chasuble coat with black and white two-tone colour scheme, straight three-quarter length sleeves and boat neckline with gimped front. Judicious work on the back with two obliquely crossed panels. Black and white woven satin Givenchy Paris label on the coat. Hook and eye at the armpits of the dress and halos in the lining of the coat. A weakness in the front of the coat and very rare and localized rust spots. Collector's item. Good structural condition of colour and conservation.
