Iconic long evening dress from the famous English designer Zandra Rhodès and dating from the 1980s. Translucent silk organza printed with geometric zig-zag patterns in ethnic style and largely inspired by the fashion of Ballets Russes by Léon Bakst and prints by Mariano Fortuny. Long sleeves with four pointed pleats at the shoulders held in place by a satin rosette to match the piping around the collar size and the cleavage. In adornment, elegant embroidery appliqued with pearly, iridescent pearls, blue glass cabochons and rhinestones with a reminder tied at the wrists. Skirt with large amplitude, without petticoats and held at the waist by a large elastic inside. Lining of the bustier in sky blue silk crepe. Most of the stitching is done by hand. Label in satin indicating Zandra Rhodès London, English Size 10, American Size 8. Clean, barely worn. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
