Worth cocktail dress in navy blue silk-crepe with horizontal stripes embroidered with iridescent navy glitter and translucent beads, from the last period of the famous house. Straight sleeveless cut, V-neck with large embroidered cuffs with sequins that join the stripes. Closure of the dress at the front with hooks at the bustier. Midnight blue Duchesse silk satin underdress, zip closure at the back. Discreet matching belt lined with navy leather and closed in front by a concealed hook. Label white background brown graphic Worth 50, Grosvenor Street, handwritten inscription Mr Chealer. This rare model is an example of the production of the English branch which officiates after the closure in 1956 in Paris of the Paquin Worth House. Woth Grosvenor Street in London definitely closed in London in 1967. Very good condition of color and conservation.
