Skirt suit by Thierry Mugler - Hawaiian Summer collection - so-called Arc-en-Ciel in wool cloth with stripes forming chromatic waves. The jacket is shouldered and fitted at the waist, with asymmetrical basques that extend into the skirt, with a double effect of cut and coordinated colours. Thierry Mugler label, Paris, size 38. No flaws, clean ensemble. Very good colour and condition.

In the 1990s, the heyday of his major Arc en-ciel collection, Thierry Mugler became a guest member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. He elevated fashion to the level of visual art and happening. An unclassifiable figure, he is known for his body and shoulder modelling, which he applied to himself using plastic surgery. A polymorphous artist, in the 2000s he preferred directing and short films to fashion.
