Circa 1990-2000
France
Iconic Couture bracelet in ‘crinkled’ gold-plated metal, designed by Robert Goossens for Yves Saint Laurent Couture and dating from the 1990s. This bracelet matches a necklace from the same collection, which is being sold separately. A chain with original links and clasp features the YSL logo, and several embossed medallions are engraved with Yves Saint Laurent's iconic symbols, including stars, butterflies, moons, swallows and fleurs-de-lis from the House of France, which adorned the famous greeting cards designed by the artist in the 1980s. This rare bracelet has retained its original shine and golden sparkle! Good overall condition in terms of colour and preservation. The matching necklace is being sold separately from this bracelet.
Dimensions: 20 cm long. Diameters of the medallions range from 3 cm x 3 cm for the largest to 2.5 cm to 1.5 cm in diameter for the smallest.
