Cocktail or formal dress in polka-dot silk satin from an unidentified Couture studio, dating from the 1960s. The background is a stunning cream satin flocked with a velvet plumetis of randomly arranged black polka dots. A sleeveless sheath dress with a large plunging neckline held in place by thin black velvet straps. A sleeveless bolero jacket with a crew neck fastens at the back with a press stud. A matching belt ties at the waist to give the bolero a slightly blousant effect. The dress has a side zip and is unlined, revealing the hand-stitched finish. The unlined bolero has dots at the bottom hem for a secure fit. There are two untucked darts in the back, a few micro scratches in the satin, two small repairs (less than 1cm) on the side seams and tiny micro soiling that is very difficult to see (photo file on request). Overall clean with no holes or stains. Good overall condition despite a few flaws that are difficult to see.
