Iconic Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture little black dress numbered 34406 and dating from the 1970s. Straight cut, slightly flared at the bottom, large oval neckline and long sleeves in slightly stretchy blistered jersey. Cuffs, collar and bottom of the dress in black taffeta pleated rosette overlay. Black crepe lining and zip in the back with original zip. Great classicism from the French master of Haute Couture. Similar model worn by the Russian dancer Maïa Plitssetskaïa before the performance of the Rose Malade (Gustave Malher, Yves Saint Laurent, Roland Petit) at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow in 1973. Good general condition of colour and conservation.
Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 36-37. Height 119 cm, shoulders 38 cm, sleeves 58 cm, chest 85-88 cm, waist 72 cm, hips 88-92 cm.
