Rare handbag by the famous Sellier Hermès named Regain and dating from 1945. One will appreciate the timeless classicism of this historical piece in estuary crocodile (crocodylus porosus) with a flamboyant brown patina and Fauve tones. Leather interior with flap pocket and press stud. Engraved gold lettering on the inside pocket indicating Hermès-Paris 24 fg St Honoré. The great French class in short! Exceptionally good condition despite a natural patina and some very limited age-related cracks, notably on the rubbed areas of the handles. Some ink stains inside, very limited. Crocodile leather particularly shiny. Collector's item. Good condition in terms of colour and conservation.
