Coco Chanel-style tailored jacket in knitted wool mohair and matching printed taffeta silk, dating from around 1975. Short jacket, long sleeves, turned-down collar, fastened at the front with three amber resin buttons encircled with stainless steel, typical of the 1970s. Unlabelled, the dressmaker's workshop has not been identified, but the fabrics are definitely haute couture. The modernist design in shades of vermilion, navy blue, brown and grey is available in both mohair wool knit and silk taffeta, which is also used for the lining with accents on the collar, the four faux pocket flaps and the cuffs! Note two small repairs to the silk on one pocket and the collar, the only flaws worth mentioning (see the last two photos). No other flaws. Good overall condition in terms of colour and preservation.

Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 39-40. Shoulders 41 cm, chest 92 cm, waist 86 cm, height 60 cm, sleeves 58 cm.
