Evening ensemble, blouse and skirt in the tradition of the Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Ballets Russes Opera Collection from the 1977 ready-to-wear collection. Black silk chiffon blouse with high neckline and long puffed sleeves fastened at the wrists with smocking and a repeat on the bust. Very full skirt in black and purple taffeta with two rows of lustrous partridge feathers. Side zip and ruffled petticoat in black taffeta. The red purse from the same collection is not part of this sale and is sold separately. Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Made in France Paris label on the blouse only. Note that the elastics are stretched at the collar and a few feathers are missing, the only flaws to be noted, otherwise no holes or stains, clean set. Good colour and condition.

Dimensions: Equivalent to size 38-39 France. Blouse: shoulders 35 cm, chest 90-92 cm, height 64 cm, sleeves 66 cm. Skirt: waist 72 cm, hips 90 cm, height 98 cm, bottom of skirt 460 cm.
