Iconic blouse and skirt in floral and striped printed Challis by Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, taken from the Haute Couture master's famous Ballets Russes opera collection. A peasant blouse with puffed sleeves and elasticated cuffs, buttoned at the front and fastened with a tie. The skirt is full and pleated at the waist with a zip fastening on one side. It is highlighted with a pink woven wool bias. The motifs printed on woollen cheesecloth are inspired by 18th-century Indians, with a strong polychrome effect. The electric blue velvet panne underskirt protrudes from the bottom of the skirt, giving a lovely fullness to the gait. The label indicate Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Paris made in France. No flaws to report. Very good colour and condition.
