Informal Han woman's short tunic jacket, probably dating from the Soviet Republic of China under Mao Tse-tung, circa 1930. In replica of the 19th century, this tunic in mauve blue satin embroidered with large medallions with navy velvet badges, is crossed on the right side by five engraved brass bell buttons held by passes. Kimono cut with a large Mao collar, underlined by golden brocaded ribbons. Slits in front and back. Fully lined with a celestial blue silk pongee that rolls up at the wrists. Two very slight rings under the armpits, very difficult to observe. Otherwise no defects. Exceptional condition of colour and conservation.
Dimensions: Presented on mannequin size 38 France. Height 68 cm, amplitude from wrist to wrist 160 cm. Sleeve height 29 cm. Circumference of the bottom of the jacket 150 cm. Shoulders 45 cm. Sleeves 55 cm.
