Long Art Deco period scarf in orange raffia and linen dating from the 1920s. Hard-primed scarf woven with strips of raffia and strips of linen overprinted with a stencil. An amazing diamond pattern imitating snakeskin in silver, gold, yellow ochre and grey! Scarf with selvedges on both sides and small fringes of raffia at both ends. Small printing defect at one end with a darker area, which remains proof of the artist's handiwork. Beautiful matt glossy contrast effect. Good condition and portable today.
