Elegant cocktail or evening dress in black silk chiffon and tulle embroidered with jet pearls and coral glass dating from the 1920s. This dress probably comes from a Parisian wardrobe in which there was Jeanne Lanvin and Paul Poiret! The underdress with the label on it has unfortunately disappeared. Black silk chiffon bottom applied with pleated satin underlining the waist, the neckline and the bottom of the dress with a large bow in the back. Asymmetrical rosette belt. Superb silk tulle embroidered with jet pearls and glass beads in the Coral style, adorning the plunging neckline, the sleeves and the bottom of the dress. The tulle is fragile at the neckline and has several small damages. The rest of the dress and materials are in excellent condition. Dress is collectible, cannot be worn.
