Lanvin Castillo Haute couture ball gown (attributed to) in embroidered cream gazar from the late 1950s. High-waisted dress with square low-cut neckline underlined with gathers and a large matching waistband. Large straps covering the shoulders with a reminder in the back of the split skirt freely inspired by the dresses of the First Empire. Closure of the dress on the side by hook and zip. Large cream gazar petticoat and matching taffeta. No label but attributed to Lanvin Castillo. Prestigious provenance of the estate of Baroness Alain de Rothschild. Dress worn by her daughter Beatrice at her first ball in 1957. Very good condition of color and conservation.
